Helping Others Live More Abundant Lives
Sydney Klepper
Murfreesboro, TN
“Eighteen-year-old Sydney has been a leg amputee since the age of two.
She came to POA to help get a good fitting prosthetic. Sydney just started college in Minnesota. In preparation, she needed extra prosthetic supplies so she would not have to worry while she was far away from home. We are happy to help Sydney with those supplies that insurance would not cover.”
We wish Sydney well as she begins this new chapter in her life!

About Our Foundation
The Benjamin Foundation was established by Robert Benjamin in 2021 with the mission of helping others lead more abundant lives.
The foundation is based in
Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Helping can take on many forms,
but the foundation’s focus is on substance abuse and physical needs.
Meeting a Physical Need
Twelve years ago, Robert was diagnosed with and treated for a rare, soft tissue cancer in his right leg. The cancer returned in 2019 and after a hard fight to save his leg, Robert had to make the hard decision to have his leg amputated.
Since receiving his prostheses, he has worked tirelessly to regain his strength and get back to the activities he loves like golf and hiking.
Through his cancer journey, the amputation, and the rehabilitation process, Robert gained a newfound empathy for those who are dealing with the loss of a limb. The high cost of prosthetics, along with minimal coverage by insurance companies, makes them unaffordable for some.
Being an athlete and knowing how important mobility is in his life, Robert wants to help people who need a prosthesis and desire an active life.
The Benjamin Foundation provides supplemental funds to purchase a quality prosthesis for those who need financial assistance.
